Something special has been happening in Bletchey. With an initial injection of Government Single Regeneration money and ongoing Council support, BCHI has been celebrating the developing identity of the town.

This project is inspired by the lives of local people and the events that have shaped Bletchley's past. It is a Living Archive project where, involving people of all ages and backgrounds, memories are collected and then brought to life through books, exhibitions, websites, CD ROMs and textiles. These have become the focus for community celebration and pride.
The friendly BCHI centre is based in Bletchley Library. This allows the community to view displays and archives and to reminisce to their hearts' content. It has permanent boards diplaying some of the nearly 4000 pictures of the area, donated by the public. There is access to a photo and local newspaper archive.
