Leon Residents’ Association

About our Residents’ Association

Leon Residents’ Association is an independent and non-political group, set up and run by local resident volunteers. We welcome and promote the interests of all residents in our area. We aim to be a local voice for local people and ensure our views are heard.

We take part in positive discussions and consultations with other agencies regarding: community engagement activities, services provided, the environment, facilities, planning, parking, crime or any other issues raised by residents. We regularly engage with Milton Keynes City Council, Bletchley & Fenny Stratford Town Council (B&FSTC), local community organisations and Thames Valley Police.

Our recent community activities include:

  • Delivering events and activities for the Platinum Jubilee and Coronation

  • Development of the Bletchley & Fenny Stratford Town Council Neighbourhood Plan

  • Promoting and supporting B&FSTC food market events in Bletchley high street

  • Enabling access to defibrillator machine and bleed kits in central Bletchley venues

  • Sharing local initiatives through our Facebook page and e-newsletter

Membership

We positively encourage membership of the Association which is free and open to everyone in the community.
