Blue Lagoon: Trails, Tales and Lanterns

Discover Trails, Tales & Lanterns at Blue Lagoon this summer and autumn- a series of free, family-friendly events celebrating the new Redway improvements at Blue Lagoon.
Experience the nature, wildlife, history, and beauty of this unique destination through a programme of guided bat walks, storytelling walks, foraging adventures, photography walks, and play activities. The series will conclude in a magical Lantern Parade, bringing the community together to celebrate the transformation of Blue Lagoon and its improved walking and cycling routes. Whether you’re looking to connect with nature, learn new skills, or enjoy time outdoors with family and friends, there’s something for everyone.

Parkrun Volunteering at the Blue Lagoon (Coming Soon!)

Park run will be coming soon to the Blue Lagoon in Bletchley, so there will be regular volunteering opportunities to get involved every Saturday from the launch date onwards.
Volunteering times are approximately 8-10am and it will involve cheering on runners as they complete the course. The Bletchley & Fenny Stratford Safe Route Initiative aims to create a safer, more welcoming walking route between Fenny Stratford Railway Station and Bletchley Railway Station. The proposal hopes to improve safety, encourage walking, support local businesses and strengthen partnership working across the town centres by adding more lighting, more cameras and helping all residents and visitors feel safer in our area, especially after dark.

Remembrance Sunday Wreath Laying - Queensway Cenotaph
Elizabeth Square, and the War Memorial, Queensway, Bletchley, Milton Keynes.
Hosted by Bletchley and Fenny Stratford Town Council, this is an opportunity for residents to remember those who fought during the World Wars I and II, and those affected by armed conflict.
8:45am - Meet in Elizabeth Square, Queensway
9am - Silent Community Walk to Queensway war memorial and cenotaph
9:10am - Start of Remembrance Ceremony, concluding at approximately 10am
Refreshments will be available at the Masonic Hall on Queensway after the ceremony, everyone is welcome.

Following the service, refreshments will be available at the Masonic Hall. All attendees are warmly invited to join fellow residents for an opportunity to reflect and connect with other members of the community.

Free parking is available at either Bletchley Library (Westfield Road, MK2 2RA), or Bletchley Leisure Centre Car Park, (Princes Way, MK2 2HQ).

West Bletchley Act of Remembrance and Parade
Bletchley Park and St Mary’s Church, West Bletchley.
Local residents are invited to come together to remember those who have died for our freedom and those who continue to suffer from their injuries due to war. The parade is organised in partnership with The Royal British Legion, West Bletchley Council , St Mary’s Church and Bletchley Park.

West Bletchley Council is proud to support the Royal British Legion’s West Bletchley Act of Remembrance and Parade, in partnership with Bletchley Park and St Mary’s Church. The parade will leave Bletchley Park at 10.45am via the Wilton Gate and proceed to Church Green Memorial.
Following the service, St Mary’s Church will be serving tea, coffee and cakes. The Royal British Legion invites attendees and participants to join them at the RBL Club, on Melrose Avenue, MK3 6PA.
We look forward to welcoming the community as we come together and honour those who have served and sacrificed their lives for our country.

Fireworks with Henry Allen Trust

The Henry Allen Trust proudly present their annual THAT Firework Spectacular event, featuring refreshment vans, a bar, raffle, tombola, face painting, fun and games, fair rides and a live DJ.
Join The Henry Allen Trust for a fun filled spectacular event and help light up the sky for Henry. Help support your local children’s cancer charity and help them continue Henry’s last wish.
Doors open 4pm, Fireworks 6:30pm.

The Bletchley and Fenny Stratford Community Forum brings together residents, councillors, Thames Valley Police and partner organisations to discuss local issues, share updates and help improve our community.
Meetings are held at different venues across Bletchley and Fenny Stratford and everyone is welcome to attend.
The next meeting will take place on Monday 19th October 2026 at 7pm at Sycamore Hall, Drayton Road, MK2 3RR.

Although the Forum operates independently of Bletchley and Fenny Stratford Town Council, meetings are regularly attended.

Community litter pick (all ages welcome) to tidy our community, organised by Water Eaton Residents Association and supported by other local Residents Associations. Heritage Open Days St Mary's Eco Art Exhibition
St Mary's Church, Church Green Road, Bletchley, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, MK3 6BJ
Members of the church and local community have been invited to produce artwork which shows something of their care and concern for the environment, or which celebrates something in the natural world. Contributing artists have been encouraged to use sustainable or recycled materials to make their pieces and to provide a short-written explanation of what they have produced and why.
The pieces will be displayed around the church during the weekend of 19th and 20th September for residents and visitors to enjoy.

Heritage Open Day Event: Commonwealth War Graves Tour

Manor Road Cemetery is the final resting place of 22 WW1 and WW2 casualties who are under the care of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. Join this tour to hear their stories and find out about the history of the CWGC.

Community Speedwatch Volunteering
Flexible times and locations across the whole of Bletchley, West Bletchley, and Fenny Stratford
In response to concerns raised by residents across the town, Bletchley Resident Associations are working together closely to establish Community Speed Watch activities across West Bletchley, and Bletchley and Fenny Stratford to try to discourage and reduce speeding.
This follows many years of reports of unsafe driving, pavement parking and speeding across Bletchley, which culminated in a serious road incident involving two children who were seriously injured on Monday 18th September by Lennox Road.
If you could spare a few hours every month to help make our streets safer for all residents, and in particularly children, please contact leonresidentsassociation@gmail.com with your street name so we can direct you to your nearest Resident Association group and get you set up on the team.

Bletchley Big Street Eat

Families across the community are invited to enjoy a free day of entertainment as the Bletchley Big Street Eat returns on Saturday 25 July, from 12pm to 5pm.
Taking place in the heart of Bletchley on the revitalised Queensway high street, (which will be pedestrianised for the occasion) this popular annual event promises something for all ages. Visitors can enjoy a wide range of free activities including fairground rides, face painting, go-karting, circus workshops, cooking experiences, live entertainment, food stalls, and creative sessions for all ages.
The Main Stage will showcase local musical and performing talent, with a special headline performance from a tribute act celebrating the music of Taylor Swift.
Organised and funded by Bletchley and Fenny Stratford Town Council, the event aims to bring the community together in a welcoming and inclusive environment, encouraging families to spend quality time together while celebrating local spirit.

West Bletchley Council organises the town’s annual Fun Dog Show, scheduled to take place in Rickley Park on Saturday 9th May, 12:30-5pm.
The event includes a nine-category dog show with best in show, participation from dog trainers, stall holders (both dog-related and standard stalls), drop-in style have-a-go activities and agility courses, and other engaging games.
