Blue Lagoon: Trails, Tales and Lanterns

Discover Trails, Tales & Lanterns at Blue Lagoon this summer and autumn- a series of free, family-friendly events celebrating the new Redway improvements at Blue Lagoon.
Experience the nature, wildlife, history, and beauty of this unique destination through a programme of guided bat walks, storytelling walks, foraging adventures, photography walks, and play activities. The series will conclude in a magical Lantern Parade, bringing the community together to celebrate the transformation of Blue Lagoon and its improved walking and cycling routes. Whether you’re looking to connect with nature, learn new skills, or enjoy time outdoors with family and friends, there’s something for everyone.

FOBS is a group of local enthusiasts dedicated to keeping our local station attractive and friendly for all its users, and welcomes anyone who would like to help. The group plays an important role in making the station welcoming for visitors to the town and resident commuters alike.

Parkrun Volunteering at the Blue Lagoon (Coming Soon!)

Park run will be coming soon to the Blue Lagoon in Bletchley, so there will be regular volunteering opportunities to get involved every Saturday from the launch date onwards.
Volunteering times are approximately 8-10am and it will involve cheering on runners as they complete the course. Community Speedwatch Volunteering
Flexible times and locations across the whole of Bletchley, West Bletchley, and Fenny Stratford
In response to concerns raised by residents across the town, Bletchley Resident Associations are working together closely to establish Community Speed Watch activities across West Bletchley, and Bletchley and Fenny Stratford to try to discourage and reduce speeding.
This follows many years of reports of unsafe driving, pavement parking and speeding across Bletchley, which culminated in a serious road incident involving two children who were seriously injured on Monday 18th September by Lennox Road.
If you could spare a few hours every month to help make our streets safer for all residents, and in particularly children, please contact leonresidentsassociation@gmail.com with your street name so we can direct you to your nearest Resident Association group and get you set up on the team.
Heritage Open Day Event: The National Museum of Computing Day Tickets Free Entry
The National Museum of Computing (TNMOC), Block H, Bletchley Park, Sherwood Drive, Bletchley, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, MK3 6EB
Follow the development of computing from the Turing-Welchman Bombe and Colossus of the 1940s through the large systems and mainframes of the 1950s, 60s and 70s, to the rise of personal computing and the rise of mobile computing and the internet.

Heritage Open Day Event: Commonwealth War Graves Tour
Manor Road Cemetery, Bletchley, Milton Keynes, MK2 2HW
Manor Road Cemetery is the final resting place of 22 WW1 and WW2 casualties who are under the care of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. Join this tour to hear their stories and find out about the history of the CWGC.

Heritage Open Days St Mary's Eco Art Exhibition

Members of the church and local community have been invited to produce artwork which shows something of their care and concern for the environment, or which celebrates something in the natural world. Contributing artists have been encouraged to use sustainable or recycled materials to make their pieces and to provide a short-written explanation of what they have produced and why.
The pieces will be displayed around the church during the weekend of 19th and 20th September for residents and visitors to enjoy.

Bletchley Big Street Eat
Bletchley high street, Queensway, Milton Keynes.
Families across the community are invited to enjoy a free day of entertainment as the Bletchley Big Street Eat returns on Saturday 25 July, from 12pm to 5pm.
Taking place in the heart of Bletchley on the revitalised Queensway high street, (which will be pedestrianised for the occasion) this popular annual event promises something for all ages. Visitors can enjoy a wide range of free activities including fairground rides, face painting, go-karting, circus workshops, cooking experiences, live entertainment, food stalls, and creative sessions for all ages.
The Main Stage will showcase local musical and performing talent, with a special headline performance from a tribute act celebrating the music of Taylor Swift.
Organised and funded by Bletchley and Fenny Stratford Town Council, the event aims to bring the community together in a welcoming and inclusive environment, encouraging families to spend quality time together while celebrating local spirit.

Community Iftar

Bletchley and Fenny Stratford Town Council invites you to join the town’s annual community Iftar at The Palatial Hall in Central Bletchley Queensway 4-8pm on Friday 20th February.
Everyone from Bletchley and Fenny Stratford to attend, even if you don’t observe the rituals of Ramadan. Iftar is the main meal of the fasting day, which occurs at sunset every day of Ramadan.
Residents in Bletchley and Fenny Stratford will be given priority booking for tickets. We welcome you to apply for tickets to join even if you live outside of this area, but there will be a short wait before your booking is confirmed.
